Carabelle Studio Stamps

Hi there!

Thanks for stopping by to see this bright sunny page. This journal page was a quick one. I really just wanted to use my spray inks and get some art time in. I love how bright these ink sprays are. The steps I took to make this page are below.
Art journal page
Art Journal Page
  1. Spray Dylusions Spray ink in Pomegranate Seed and Lemon Zest
  2. Stencil randomly around the page using the following:
    • Prima square block stencil with black Archival Ink
    • Tim Holtz small circle stencil with Scattered Straw Distress Ink and Victorian Velvet Distress Ink
    • Arrow Stencil with black Archival Ink
    • Sand Dollar stencil using Victorian Velvet Distress Ink
  3. Grid stamp using Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and Scattered Straw Distress Ink (this is very faint)
  4. Stamp Carabelle Studio heart stamp onto card stock
    • color the stamped image with markers and colored pencils
    • cut out the image and glue to page
  5. Stamp Quote using black Archival Ink
  6. White dots using acrylic paint
  7. Create faint light rays using the edge of a piece of paper and scattered straw distress ink
I took a picture with the flash off so you can see the heart stamp a little bit better. I just love the quote. The quote says "The heart has its reasons which reason knows not"
